Have a lesson plan, worksheet, or classroom resource that’s made a real difference in your teaching? We’d love to feature it on The Canadian Teacher and share it with educators across Canada.

We’re looking for practical, classroom-tested resources that teachers actually use—materials that solve real problems and save time without sacrificing quality. Whether it’s a brilliant unit you’ve developed, a set of worksheets students love, or a classroom management tool that actually works, we want to help you share it.

What We’re Looking For

We accept lesson plans, worksheets, printables, classroom organization resources, assessment tools, and instructional guides that align with Canadian curricula (K-8 focus, but we accept resources for secondary as well).

Your resource should be:

• Classroom-tested — You’ve used it and know it works
• Complete — Ready to use without significant modification
• Clear — Well-organized with easy-to-follow instructions
• Useful — Solves a real classroom problem or meets genuine student needs
• Curriculum-aligned — Connects to provincial or pan-Canadian standards where relevant

We also accept teaching philosophy pieces, reflective essays about classroom practice, and professional development guides that offer genuine insight into teaching.

What Happens When You Submit

When you submit a resource, our team reviews it to ensure it meets our quality standards. If we feature your work, you’ll be credited as the author with a link to your website or social media (if you’d like). Your resource will reach thousands of teachers looking for practical materials.

We may make minor formatting adjustments for consistency, but your work remains your own and your contribution is recognized.
